Snow Treasure
Snow Treasure
Snow Treasure, a realistic fiction story by Marie McSwigan describes A kids friends and family in war 11 that were trying to move a lot of gold out of Norway to America so the Germans would not get it. The main character is Peter he is head of the defense club and is helping sneak gold out of the country Peter is 12 and his dad is also In the defends club. Peter want to get all the gold out as fast as possible and go to a America. However there are Germans everywhere and they can't just grab it from the bank and carry it down the mountain. The Germans would note it and take it. So they hid the gold in a cave then the kids cared for it on their sleds down the mountain and bare it in the snow and make a snowman. However then it started to rain which would ruin the snow tracker. Lucky the rain turned to snow and they cod keep sledding.
One thing that I like about this book is that it is not super short but not super long. Another thing that I like about this book is the delta and there is always something happening in the story. I also like that it is realistic fiction because it is a real event that happened but they add stuff so it is more entertaining for the reader. I liked the charter in this book because he doesn't just let them find the gold. He fights back and risked his life so they can't get the gold out of the country.
