The Man with the Red Bandana

 The Man with the Red Bandana in a short picture book describes Wells' courageous acts during 9/11. The main character is a man named Wells that works in the Twin Towers. Wells was a volunteer firefighter so he wanted to help people by bringing them to safety. However the stairwell of the building was filled with smoke and people were injured. So Wells covered his face with his red bandana and helped people find their way out. Then Wells went back up the stairwell to help people reach safety. At the end Wells did not make it out of the building but he will always be remembered by the people he saved.

The man in the red bandana Was an excellent book and I have a few thoughts.Wells the main character in the book has some great character traits he was kind and resilient. However, most importantly he was brave.Also learned an important lesson.Wells was only one person but you were able to say that to many people with his courageous Act.
