 I Survived the Joplin Tornado is a true story by Lauren Tarshis. The main character, eleven year old Dexter he want’s to see a tornado in reel life. But tornados are very deadly and kill hundreds of people. So then went with a Decrease Parow and when they go it’s bigger than they expected it to be. At the end Dexter and his family all find a hospital to treat their injuries.

I love this book because he tried to fulfill his dreams and I love how the pictures look. I love how close he is to his family in this story. If I was going to rate this book I would rate it a 10/10. It is one of my favorite I Survived books of them all.
